Schedule a Workshop or Lecture for your Guild, Sewing Group or Retreat
Workshop (In-person or Virtual) hosted by your Guild - Workshops are 6 hours per day and can accommodate up to 24 students. Workshop fee is $600 per day plus travel and accommodations as needed. Students typically finish their quilt top by the end of the Workshop. Workshops will have an additional pattern fee of $10 per student (in person) and $8 (virtual), unless otherwise noted below. Most Workshops are appropriate for all levels of quilters and can be combined or extended to create a 2-5 Day Class.
Virtual Workshop for your Guild or Group, hosted by Kellie - Quilters register for the 6 hour workshop on my website and pay a $45 fee (which includes a PDF pattern download). There is no other cost to the Guild or Group. Quilters are sent the Zoom link and PDF pattern upon registration. Guild or Group is asked to promote and advertise Workshop in their newsletter. Great option for smaller Guilds and Groups. Minimum 6 people. |
1 Day Workshops (In-person or Virtual)
2, 3, 4 or 5 Day Workshops (In-person or Virtual)
Lectures (In-person or Virtual) are approximately 60 Minutes, include a PowerPoint presentation and viewing of quilts. Lecture fee is $350 plus travel and accommodation as needed.
Little Quilts, No Big Deal!
Does small-scale piecing intrigue you but you aren’t sure how to start? Lecture includes many useful tips and techniques on how to create a miniature quilt including, drafting your own pattern, fabric selection, accurate cutting and piecing, free motion quilting tips and useful tools to make the job easier. Lecture will also include several small quilts to view close up. |
The Little Trunk Show
Ever wonder why a person would make a little quilt? Or have you wondered what to do with a small quilt after you have finished it? Lecture includes ideas on how to display your little quilts as well as up-close viewing of award-winning miniature quilts that need to be seen to really appreciate the small-scale construction. Some techniques will also be shared during the lecture. |
